Our little brave Amaya was having hard time walking when she arrived in Canada last Feb 2023. At first we thought she was just adjusting to the weather and environment but as months went by it was getting worst so we decided to bring her to the hospital. Last June 2023 she was diagnosed with DIPG. It is so heartbreaking for us. We went to IWK to have radiation. First set was for 30 session. It went well and she was able to walk properly but after 6 months all the symptoms came back and the MRI results were not good. Right now she is on her 13th session out of 17 sessions of another round of radiation. We will fight this battle because our brave little angel is giving her best effort and she is fighting for her right to live.
